First of all, there’s no way in hell this girl reads. She probably pretends to though. Secondly, I rarely comment on random industry-related articles unless I have some sort of connection to the author, firm or source, but I felt my need to fervently disagree with this smugass dude on Talent Zoo.  :)

It’s true that people love books. It’s true that  people love records. But I believe consumers are beginning to see past  the superficial product and get to the core of what they really love.   What people really love is reading. Or music. And they love people who  read (or people who listen).  Once people begin seeing past the need to  have a physical library of books, movies, music what have you, they’ll  realize that the product they derive enjoyment from is essentially the  same. The channel in which they experience it may be different, but there’s nothing wrong with adaptation.
